New Physician in Timberlea

 

Our Timberlea Medical Clinic located at 1802 St Margaret’s Bay Rd. in Timberlea NS has an approved FTE 1.0position to begin a brand-new family practice. 

 

Who we are:

 

The Timberlea Medical Clinic is a Collaborative Practice wherein physicians and supporting licensed healthcare professionals collaborate on general healthcare outcome targets, meet to discuss patient care and cover each other’s patients while a physician is not scheduled in the clinic. The Clinic also works to provide locum coverage to support vacation times.  We welcome and encourage physicians who choose to provide health care services at local hospitals, nursing homes etc. Candidates must be eligible to be licensed by CPSNS and Credentialed with the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

 

The Ravines Medical Group takes care of the business of medicine for you such as billings, administrative staffing, management of referrals, management of vaccines, ordering of supplies. Your exam rooms and office space is fully equipped including EMR and computer hardware. Attractive overhead model with no minimum monthly amount and scaling incentives based on yearly billing thresholds.

 

The Opportunity:

 

We currently have an opportunity for a new physician looking to build a brand-new practice in the Timberlea community. The incoming physician will have the choice of either the fee for service or alternative payment plan models as the Ravines Medical Group accommodates both. In collaboration with the existing team of two physicians and a nurse practitioner the incoming physician will be a part of a collaborative clinic serving the patients of the Timberlea Medical Clinic.  We pride ourselves on providing the support for our physicians to provide medical services outside of the clinic to diversify and complement their family practice.

 

This positon can be filled by two physicians seeking to share a practice should it be desirable. Days of the week, hours and number of patients scheduled per shift are tailored to the physician’s preference. The Timberlea Medical Clinic offers after hour care coverage at our Ravines Medical Centre Location 7 days per week including a Walk-In Clinic.  Our clinics are networked to the same EMR which allows for the patient’s chart to be accessible across all Ravines clinics
